Feel sick

Post by Been-Grant-Mitchell'd! »

Where I live, near a farm, there is a dog. She's a cross between a spaniel and a collie sort of thing and very much a people dog. She paws at my door most mornings for me to let her in, and if I ignore her she'll bark a few times until I open the door. I keep dog chews for her and sometimes she has a small tin of pilchards or some milk as a treat.

Anyway, as my car is in the garage for a new gearbox, I was waiting in the lane for my mate to pick me up.
The farm dog was waiting with me and then she started jumping around in the grass, then around a big log.
I moved the log as I was wondering what she was after, and a mouse ran out across the grass.

She pounced on it at killed it instantly which pissed me off.

Then she bloody ate it.

I could hear the bones crunching as she chewed it up.

Now she can fuck off. She's getting nothing from me now.
It ruined my day as I keep thinking about it, and now I feel guilty for moving the log.

I look after four Jack Russells and when I walk them and they see another dog, cat or a maybe a pheasant, they go to chase them and as soon as I snap my fingers and shout "No!", they instantly stop but still look at it.
But the farm dog is gonna be a bit more hard work.

It was the crunching that made me gag.

Just thinking about it now - eeuuugh!
