For a mod this is a pretty childish thread.
you seem like a good person ableit a stubbon one.
i'm sure you have the interlect to see other peoples points but yet due to stubboness choose to ignore them.

Think back lee to all them years ago if you hadn't of been shown the better side of the fruit machine scene, where would you be now?

If all these big corperate companys thought like yourself then they wouldnt have the need to advertise would they. your right no one can make you gamble, smoke, drink, take drugs or eat shit food, but they sure as hell can influence you
He isn't right of course, he just thinks he is.

erm thanks feeder ,,, i think

of course it was childish ,,,,,,,,, it was meant as a laugh lol ,,,,,,,,,, a parody of the other thread lol

i do see others points on the influence's ,,,,,,,,,, really i do m8 ,,,,,,,,,,,, maybe the online casino advertisers should be regulated more by the advertising standards agency . ,,,,,,,,,, ive never really took that much notice of em . ,,,,,,,,,,, im sure they are very misleading in their delivery , shoddy and corrupt to the core ................. but this can be said for pretty much all adverts cant it ? ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ferraro rochet would have you believe the lavish mansion lifestyle full of fit birds too ,,,,,,,, so would half the alcohol advertisements ,,,,,,,,,,,, on a tropical island with bacadi or a can of lilt lol.

i do value everyone's opinion ,,,,,,,,,, i dont know all the answers . (and thankyou for agreeing that nobody makes us gamble )

but after careful consideration of everybody's viewpoints ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, im still going to blame myself for being an out of shape fat coot ,,,,,,,,, rather than lay blame on ronald and the colonel ,

finger licking good lol ,,,,,,,,,,, is it really ????

both threads amount to much the same .

i just used food for this one to put the same format across , in a way that more people on here can relate to, im sure we have more fat coots than hardened gambling addicts.

in fact my only real point in the whole shaboodle that i wont waver on ,,,,,,,,,, is your ''choices/actions in life , come with your own responsibility for them , nobody elses''

rich m8 ,,,,,,,,, you call me a coot ,,,,,,,,,, but i still call you m8

your opinions are valid and worthy bud ,,,,, but its clear theres a little personal vendetta going on to.

you make out that i said ''all that enter bookies are saddicts'' ,,,,,,,,,,, which i didn't ,,,,,,,,,, you know that.

and if any post should be deleted ,,,,,,,,,,,,, no , if any post is laughable and beyond redemption ,,,,,,,,,,,****which you wont address,,,, sorry cant lol***

its this travesty of untruth

''You don't deny having the odd gamble, but only now that it has been pointed out by others that you DO gamble. If I was to dig up all the posts of yours where you state that you never gamble (or words to that effect) i'd miss the majority of this lovely, sunny day.''

you know as well as any regular member that my card games are well documented ,,,,,,,,,,,, you've been invited lol , plus lads days out on the 500's

ive never said i dont ever have the odd '' holiday type gamble'' ,,,,,,,,, i just dont believe we gamble in our profession (a view shared by many successful pro players)

I had a Kebab last night for the first time this year and loved it. I'm a fat sod too lol! A balti kebab, with a naan, lamb and chicken in a thick balti sauce and a tray of salad. No dog, I mean donner meat either. I had to put it together myself too and the best bit was the lack of grease. £6.50 well spent and I can guarantee I won't be waiting 3 months before my next order!

Lee,

I'll keep this brief as I have better things with which to occupy my time other than descending into another argument.

I stated that you come across as a coot online, with your neverending quest to be seen by all as the Patron Saint of Players. I stand by my view. If I had simply wished to call you a coot I would have done, but I didn't because I believe that fundamentally you are a good (if narrow-minded) person. I've had my fair share of abuse off you on this site remember.

There is no petty vendetta against you here, I took exception to some of your comments, and responded in my usual balanced manner. You even acknowledged you were likely to 'ruffle a few feathers' with your opinions, yet you are unable to accept the criticism that came your way afterwards. This being the case I advise you to think carefully about what you write in future.

Lastly, if I was to define gambling I would perhaps summarise by saying that a gamble is an activity whereby money is placed on an event on which the outcome is not by any means 100% determinable. By this definition it is highly likely that most people, players or otherwise, will concede that playing fruit machines, even to the highest standard, is still gambling, because when you put that first pound coin in you cannot guarantee the outcome.

Although to be fair that is rather pedantic, however it is the view 99.9% of the population will take. You and I know that over the course of an hour, day or week the proficient player will emerge victorious in a climate that sees minimal risk. Certainly not the current climate, unless you are Redliesman.

i agree with maverick and you rich ,,,,,,,, that given the current climate (and almost mandatory 100 plus involvement ) ,,,,,,,,,,, that our ''edge'' ,,,,,,, has definitely seen better days , and that its heading more towards gambling inch by inch everyday .

but who knows whats round the corner ?

if the ''edge'' go's below an acceptable level ,,,,,,,,,, its job time for me ,,,,,,, the fruits certainly arnt having it back.
