Im taking my grandmother to see a play in london for her 80th birthday. need to book a hotel 4-5 star, i said i would treat her to a good break. Can any of you London guys recomend anywhere, doesnt matter about cost. anywhere that appears good,but isnt? im thinking savoy, claridges....might be a bit too flash. anyones a bit lower

if you can get into the strand palace hotel go for there. it is about as affordable as you will get in WC2 but it is also a proper west end hotel.
