Why not lee! Better than wasting it on smack or something

I'd expect nothing less than a pair of superhero converse trainers!!

Respect!

You may be 39, I'm not far off your age either and I love a bit of the ol' comic heroes and animations.

You've probably answered this before but where did the fondness of superheros originate? Just interested to know as you lay reference to them as often as possible. Trainers are different to say the least not knocking them, you'd most likely wouldn't be seen dead in the clobber I wear

ive explained this before in another thread ,,,,,it will be boring and very self indulgent ,,,,,,, but for new members read on .

it started when i was 7 years old ,,,,,,,,,,

previously to this , i was a very very hyperactive child ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, wild and into everything ( i think now it probably has a medical term ,,,,, attention deficit syndrome or somethingorother,,,, but back then you was just considered a naughty child lol).

by age 7 , i couldn't hardly read or write anything ,,,,,,,,, i just simply didn't want to learn and had no focus on anything ,,,,, both my parents and teacher's didn't have a clue what to do .

this all changed when my dad took me to the pictures to see superman 1 with christopher reeve,,,,,,,,,,, i was transfixed , couldn't believe what i had just witnessed ,,,,,,, from then on everyday would be spent playing with a towel round my neck arms forward running down the street like a loon lol ,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,, and it wasn't enough , i needed more

so shortly after my dad started bringing home the comics ,,,,,,, superman , batman, spiderman , hulk , wonder woman etc etc ,,,,,,,,,,, and that was it ,,,,,,,,, everything changed ,,,,,,, because i could only glean so much information from the pictures ,,,,,,,,, i had no choice ,,,,,,, i had to learn to read ,,,,,,,,,, suddenly there was focus.

it just never left me since ,,,,,,, it just made such an impression on me.

just as a side note , ,,,,,,,,, and i dont mean this to sound in anyway a boast ,,,,,,,,, but my wife is heavily into designer clothes ,,,,,,,, really heavily ,,,,,, and has bought me too many items to list over the years,,,,,, the point is , i could have started this thread with pictures of £450 gucci boots lol ,,,,,,,,,,,, but the cheap converse (because of the superhero design ) mean so so so much more to me than any expensive designer gear ,,,,,,,,,, my wife doesn't understand me fully ,,, thinks im nuts ,,,,,,,,, but she did buy me this ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,, :P
