Servys prices are discisting, £10.50 for ham egg and chips. the drinks are a fucking joke aswell. I no its 2011 but should a sandwich and a coffee come to more than a fiver? NO, in a realistic life you should be able to get a full english and a drink for a fiver. even if im making 300 these prices still get to me, and if i fance a redbull and a twix (about 75p) for a twix, at 4am in the morning in a service station whs with 1person called rishman patel not even at the till, im not paying!!

some places price things stupidly, cans of coke were 75p in whsmiths and bottles were 2 for £1 ???
went in spoons today for breakfast,
traditional brekkie £2.99
large brekkie £3.99 (extra egg, bacon, sausage + toast)
add tea and toast for £2.10
now....
traditional used to be £2 large was £3 and add tea and toast was 99p
for the prices now you can have a traditional plus tea and toast for £5.10 or buy a cup of tea for 99p and a large breakfast which comes with toast and extra everything also £5.10
wtf is up with that ???

staniforths bakeries cold sausage roll, 76p, warm sausage roll 91p i shit you not, happend the other week, when i asked why there was a price increase, the clever cow said, well you have to pay for heating at home dont ya.
So in my twisted mind, i was plotting, as she had just shown me up in front of a shop full.
So i ordered 4 warm sausage rolls, and a ham salad sandwich with salad cream and egg, but requested the yolk pulling out of the centers of the sliced egg. then a fresh cream spilt finger...
She tapped it all in the till, £172853817.91p please, wot did i do ?? "nah love iv changed my mind, i cant afford to pay your heating bills aswell as mine!!!" and walked out, laughing my bollocks off.
So if your in swinton, just nip into the staniforths and ask for an ham.egg sarnie with no yolks, and watch the reaction.

76p to 91p is almost bang on 20% = VAT.
Bloody annoying as there's a lovely sausage roll in the butchers near my work, which are £1.30 cold!!! Soon adds up if you get them hot. I take 'em back to the office and microwave 'em - that's all they do. Heh-heh...

Yup cold sausage roll = Zero rated goods (Non Luxury food item)
Hot sausage roll = Vatable goods (Heating it is a service thus becoming Vatable)
