official crimbo meet thread 2010

ok , time to get the ball rolling ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, giving everyone plenty of notice.
i think , to be fair to everyone from all ends of the country ,,,,,,,,,, it should be held in the midlands ,,,,,,,,,,,, of course your not gonna be able to please everyone ,and some people are going to moan regardless, unless you hold it on their front lawn lol,,,,,,, but it makes sense to have it in the centre of the country ,,,,,,,,,,,, to give it the best possible turnout chance .
now it could be in leicester (not just saying that because i live here lol) but we do have easy access from the m1 , plenty of hotels ,,,,,,,, and the facilities afterwards at my place to carry on the drinking/chinkykebabs/cardschool/58inchplaystationbattles,,,,,, etc with possible limited crash/sleeping availability ........
if not ,,,,,,,,, then birmingham is the obvious choice ,,,,,,,,,,, central , packed with hotels , and a good pub crawl can be had along broad st and the canal bank.
as for a date ,,,,,,,,,,, well obviously this can be flexible to suit ,,,,,,,,,( whilst we still have months to plan) ...... but again to ensure maximum turnout potential ,,,,,,,, it really should be a fri/sat night as near to crimbo as possible .
