M6 or Whichever Motorway's your local's Bombers!!

Post by mjd »

Motorways RULE. Driving down motorways is a dream come true in a way, well for me it was. Remember the first time you drove on a motorway? I remember the excitement! and I still get A buzz when I joing the M6 from the A591!

No Speed Cameras at all, none on the M62 either for the Majority..

MUSIC - What are the great motorway tunes.. I tend to like the Long Ones..
Like - Green Velvet - Flash (Danny Tenaglia Remix) or the NETBUSTERS track as it once was! Also Oasis doesn't go amiss, but I tend to leave them For Rooley Avenue :D

I Loooooooove Motorways! Your probably thinking im mad by now! :D
But whats your local 'M'?

I live within 2 miles of the M25.

Speed cameras in almost every overhead gantry you pass under, one per lane. :(

avoid motorways at all costs when i can, m56 is closest to me, just recently drove from chester to newquay, motroway the way down as had someone following me, its so damn boring.

Way back i got to use me favourite country roads, up through kidderminster, over to shrewsbury, oswestry, wrexham. Welsh A roads are amazing, so wide you spend the whole time overtaking.

Managed to get back from newquay in just over 3 1/2 hours....not bad going ;)

That's fine, no chance of you getting above 70mph on the M25 anyway

I live right near the infamous A14. There's been so many accidents on it, a large chunk going west out of Cambridge (Bedford, Huntingdon) is restricted to 40mph these days! :x

I love the A14 Matt Get on at Kettering and F*****g fly all the way to the M6 (especially now i've finally got round to fitting my detector on my bike). Must admit that the Huntingdon area where it joins the A1 is mad though!, always someone in an overturned car etc.

I find the M25 to be the same in that i can just sit between the lanes so am not "collered" by the camera's

You're on the M606 there MJD, just come off the M62 and you're wanting to take J1 (technically J1A) to head for the Odsal Top roundabout and ultimately to Odsal Stadium.

The 606 and the 62 are my local M'ways, about 35mins from me.
Still kicking about.
