After reading this thread i have just watched the first 2 episodes of series one on youtube

Not long now! Just over a week. Much prefer this to Skins, because this is (with a few exceptions) very relatable, and they combine realism and comedy gold very well. Skins goes over the top with storylines which makes it a challenge especially series 4 to not walk out.
