I have a large fan strategically positioned next to my feet and pointing up towards my chair. Bliss!
Still kicking about.

MJD - you sure you didn't walk into my office? LOL

We all pelted outside when it started raining!

Rain? RAIN?!

Send it London-bound NOW! Please! I can't stand wearing shirt/tie/trousers in this heat...

All you Northerners be glad you don't have to travel to work on the tube, it's absolutely furnace-like down there at the moment. People are keeling over left, right and centre.

Mate, I'm in Bexleyheath - in Bexley... The London Borough of Bexley!!! :)

It rained hard as I've ever seen it at about 3:00 this afternoon. Soon went back to being a scorcher though!!! The floor had dried up again by about 4:00!!! I can't see me getting much sleep tonight, same as last night... :(

:)

Forecast for torrential thunder downpurs tomorrow in London. However, it's also forecast 29c still. You'll have to wait until friday before all of the heat has cleared off completely!

I bought an aircon unit from B&Q last summer, never used really used it.

Two weeks ago I got around to drilling a big hole through the wall and fitting it up. Great piece of kit. If anyone is going to buy one, make sure its at least 12,000 BTU.

Feels like winter in my house.. 8)

:D

Not got that far yet, but its only 1000w - most little fan heaters are 2000w.

Get yourself one, you know you want to.. Got to go put some gloves on, be back later. :D

You should all move to whitby, always around 22/23, with a nice sea breeze makes it perfect to live in all summer :D

I wouldn't cope in 30 degree heat, it got upto 26/27 here a few weeks ago and it was unbearable, so respect to anyone that works in 30+ heat.
