Gatwick would be quick but there's a case for going to Heathrow, as the Piccadilly line runs directly from the airport to Leicester Square without having to change.

Let's face it, we all know that Wetherspoons are pretty shabby places but you can spot 'em a mile off, so people are less likely to get lost. So it's a decent starting point - and we aren't exactly short of options when it comes to pubs to move on to.

Isty - the fixture list the following day makes interesting reading - could be a bleary-eyed Saturday afternoon when we need it least

I'm gonna try to book a Travelodge or Premier Inn tomorrow ready. If they've got more rooms I could book more then get the money back from whoever wants to stay.

By the way, I bought a couple of radiators from Argos this afternoon and had to carry them 200 yards to the car in the rain - quite heavy if you're like me and built like a jockey's whip. However, why is it you only get an itchy nose when you've got your hands full?

hope someone can answer this ,,,,,,,,,,,,

the mrs n myself ,,,,,,, along with spaces in the car for ( possible martin scot ady whoever) will be arriving london on the friday ,,,,,,,,,,, daytime sloting/shoping whatever ,,,,, then the meet ....... then the digs ,,,,,,, travelodge or premier inn ????

now tracy WILL get totally hammer'd ,,,,,,,, and therefore doesn't fancy having to be forced out of the digs with a hangover at the usual 10am .

so does anyone know if travelodge or premier inn offer a more reasonable 12midday kickout ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, for free or for an extra small fee etc ????????

if nobody knows by the morning ,,,,,,, no worries ,,,,,, as im gonna ring em both over the next cpl of days and get booked up .

cheers in advance ,,, lee.

I've booked into the Premier Inn at Kings Cross.

£90 & they let you stay til midday.
