ROTW I know it's a bit waffley mate but you have missed the points completely. I think my analogy using the illuminati is spot on and has relevance, I understand what I'm talking about a lot better than you think. People were very clearly saying they ran/know of people that run this game. Talk of a mythological secret society of players from which all information originates and is spoon fed to the masses! My first paragraph shows how these people could never be more anything more than hypocrites who attempt to lord power over the masses by spreading lies, making the player population believe they are the source of all power (tricks) so that they become robotic slaves in their "chain" or system. The rest of my post is attempting to dispell the myth that to exist successfully in the fruit machine playing world you have to be a part of the "chain".

If you still can't see the resemblance between my comparisons I suggest you learn a little more about illuminati and the like. I've seen documentaries with people stating how every business system in the world seems to unknowingly mirror the hierarchical pyramid system in place today. It's very interesting to consider that even a business system as independent and unregulated as the professional fruit machine playing circuit also seems to mirror this pyramid system as does drug dealing. I made that comparison in one of my first posts.

I'm not sure the relevance of your last paragraphs about the guy you thought was a top boy. I think it's rare people find anyone to look up to in this game but just because you have such respect for this guy does that somehow mean he is a calibre of player far beyond our wildest dreams? No he was just a good player like many others who you remember with a rose tinted vision because he was someone you looked up to back in the day.

Anyway I'm glad I'm the friend you never had, I'll be expecting a Christmas present now.

we , have sort of splintered into two topics here

1, me quitting full time , for the reasons stated ,,,,,,,,,, and 2, differences in player levels

when it comes to calculating my own playing level ( truthfully ) , i consider myself maybe 6 out of 10 , just slightly above average , because i feel it takes an awful lot of attributes to make the perfect player , ,,,,,,, im as good as anyone here at skills (not needed anymore ) my discipline is high , and work ethic good ,,,,,,,, but i lose a lot of points because i dont have the intellect to work things out for myself , , ,my organization skills arn't great , and i often wont venture into fruit rich shitholes ,,,,,a coward yes , but an honest one ,,,,,,im a part of and rely heavily on the chain network .

im under no illusion that there are many more better players than myself , with analytical minds ,,,,,,,,, i accept that , i can handle that fine with zero anomosity whatsoever ......... ive done well out of being middle of the road

i wont big my self up , and lie/boast/exaggerate , to keep up with the jones

with this in mind ,,,,,,, please all take a look at this quote from another thread by mr prime

''Time to get a proper job. It's sad to think how many games there have been over the years, and now it is just deals, that are generally awful now with the odd exception. Those in denial will claim that things are still rosey but they really aren't. This is a slow torturous death from hereon in. The only survivors will be the smart individuals who tucked plenty of the winnings away and can withstand the slowdown. Gl all.''

thats exactly where im at ,,,,,, and because i have savings , im looking forward to the slowdown ,,,,,, the reduced hours etc

now understandably , if you genuinely are on a higher level than the other 95% of us ,,,,,,, then i sincerely and genuinely wish you continued success , i really do

i just hope that along with those '' analytical minds skills '' ,,,,,,,, you also have had the foresight and discipline skills to put money away for the inevitability of change , because nobody stays at the top of the tree forever. ,,,,,,,, and this industry can change in a heartbeat ,,,,,, who knows where government legislation will take it next ?

lol so optimistic! fact is that fruits have never been so profitable and will continue to be so for the forseeable. the danger being what happened with club machines (casinos). that would be a disaster.

quite a few machines mentioned in this thread, i wonder if any of them will have anything on them at some point....

oh and some sell their info for a lump sum and a profit share %, which can be very lucrative and is quite often the beginning of "leakage". i suspect at least one or two posters in this thread have "worked things out" this way....

I think the best was to address this is by answering each point in red... I'm shocked at some things you're saying and I think you need to understand here...

ROTW I know it's a bit waffley mate but you have missed the points completely. I think my analogy using the illuminati is spot on and has relevance, I understand what I'm talking about a lot better than you think.
Clearly you don't, because you have used a completely irrelevant example in an out of context situation.

People were very clearly saying they ran/know of people that run this game.
When??? I seem to have missed the post or posts where it says that! I saw 2 players being quite boastful about their achievements, its up to every individual to believe what they want about those 2 people, I didn't see those 2 people trying to brainwash the masses or declare themselves as our leaders though!

Talk of a mythological secret society of players from which all information originates and is spoon fed to the masses!
I think I must have missed this bit too! Where have you seen this 'talk' on this thread? It seems to me like you're reading far more into this than is actually there!

OK, here you've gone completely mental because no such this is being said for the reasons you are stating! No player wants other players to exist, as part of a chain or individuals or otherwise! What use is a load of drones to a top player? What use is a top player to load of drones if they are all so smart???? There is no benefit to a top player who shows of or makes out he is great to have 'followers' - that is so not the case that I can't even believe you are making these ludicrous points! If these players were somehow 'serving' the top player or players, fair enough but in reality those rats/drones/parts of the chain/lower end of the hierarchy or whatever you call them are simply PESTS who they would love to eradicate rather than control! Them being out of the way would make life so much better for the 'top boys'... Where are these 'robotic slaves'??? Who here is claiming to be one? Is Trayhop saying he is a slave of Will and Redlinesman's and trying to break free of this imaginary 'chain' which you claim exists???

If you still can't see the resemblance between my comparisons I suggest you learn a little more about illuminati and the like.
I don't really care about illuminati since they are not a part of my life (at least not directly), I just don't see the relevance nor do I see a feasible comparison in the industry. I may be blind in your view but in my view you're at best clutching at straws that aren't even there and at worst have gone completely off your head!

There is no 'system' in place, Mr. Horse! There may be comparisons you can draw but these are purely COINCIDENTAL or just part of an every day structure which does not mean it is somehow 'controlled' by some big bad guy(s) sitting there, rubbing their hands together trying to get us all to do... I don't even know what you're suggesting is the point of all this 'controlling' or making people part of this 'chain' if I'm honest!

LOL I didn't rate the guy at all as a player, again you have missed the point, he was a great organiser of routes and knew a hell of a lot of pubs. I just feel I am not so great at route organisation as he was. The man was shit on skills and he didn't really understand machines, merely was shown and followed processes taught to him by someone we both know. ;)

Anyway I'm glad I'm the friend you never had, I'll be expecting a Christmas present now.
I'd gladly sort you out with a gift that takes away your extreme paranoia if I'd worked out a trick recently or been fed by one of these top boys on the chain - or if I sold my soul to the 'leader' of this 'illuminati' we work for! Hope we can still do the Christmas meet up and perhaps discuss this in person!

Never been so profitable? Aliens/reds/coins/diggers/superholds were everywhere was a worse time than now was it? Now we have the odd scattered one of those in hole pubs and the odd mist/perfect that's nigh on always on shit pots.Oh and jpkings that have about as much chance of being on a pot as you winning the euromillions unless it's a chipped one.

Sigh. Would it kill you to try to listen to someone instead of using your argumentative nature to try and ridicule what they say?

I'll address your points in the patronising manner you did:-

1: Personally I find the similarities obvious and the relevance is me showing that the only way to be on every new trick is to be getting spoon fed by industry leaks, other relevance is me trying to show that it's not just a super intelligent 1 in 50 players who work things out as trayhop thinks, clueys work stuff out all the time but just don't know how to use it, other relevance is me showing how the fruit hating/dependant/demanding/defeatist attitudes of many players will prevent them from working things out.

2,3&4: Redlinesman describes players who are on every trick early, concealing their identity as their secret knowledge is far beyond the worth of the common player. Those who claim to be in this fruit machine elite aren't claiming to be in control and you are exactly right they would see average players as pests. If there is an illuminati they also don't openly claim power over the masses and see the average man as a pest they would like to eradicate, hence plans of population reduction. The fruit machine elite aren't promoting their chain/system openly in the same way the illuminati wouldn't promote their banking system, it's in place already and the majority adhere to it already. Trayhop and others are claiming to be slaves to this system quite clearly. They assume they are only capable of ever being spoon fed information which comes from invisible "top boys" whose intelligence is far beyond that of their own. Someone like redlinesmans or wills posts only strengthen that belief and demoralises the average player making them feel low and in turn subservient to the belief they have to wait by their phone for new information to get to them. Also I'm very clearly not the only person who believes this "chain" of information exists, it's in no way part of my imagination as majority of players admit to being spoon fed their knowledge from it. All I'm trying to do is show that reliance on this "chain" is not necessarily needed as much as most players think.

5: I'm just comparing normal conspiracy theory with fruit machine conspiracy theory and highlighting the similarities, this doesn't mean I've gone off my head, the post was semi humorous, your lack of ability to see the similarities and hence the relevance appears to be down to your lack of conspiracy knowledge, I will repeat, read up so that you can be more understanding about a subject you attempt to address in such a condescending and all knowing fashion.

6: Again, yes there is a system or "chain" in place or at least most players believe there is which is damaging enough, a chain where the largest amount of players are at the bottom level of information and a few unseen elite are at the top with the highest level of information. This could be described as a pyramid hierarchical system don't you think? I'm in no way suggesting the system was contrived by redlinesman and co who sit there rubbing their hands, merely pointing out the similarities in form of the systems. The point of this chain, like every chain that exists, would be to keep players at a certain level, top at the top and bottom at the bottom, again I'm not saying it was consciously or purposefully designed, just that it mimics other chains and systems found in the world, perhaps this is coincidental like you say, who knows.

7: Ok, fair enough I must have lost the point that you were making whilst being engrossed in writing my drivel, please explain to me the relevance to this thread of your mention of that player.

8: I don't think I'm all that paranoid, I just look at everything with an open mind as all possibilities are potentially real. I never mentioned anything to do with devil worshipping or selling souls by the way and I don't necessarily believe a lot of the illuminati theories but I do recognise similar patterns, something being a player is all about, just pointing out these similarities I've noticed to the board.

Anyway I already have a tin foil hat which is deflecting all the gamma mind control rays sent to my brain from the alien overlords so a simple toaster will suffice for Christmas.

so how does everyone rate themselvs out of 10 ? , , , taking into account all the required facets and skillsets required of a pro player

this should make for interesting reading

Not being funny but why would anyone wish to rate themselves?

If you are proficient enough with fruit machines that you can earn a living then surely that is good enough.
