Right was having a late night game of footy in the local uni grounds ! So we run out of fags ( nice n healthy game).

I decided to cycle up to the garage (BP) to get 30 cigs! 1x mayfair 1x regal 1xLaB. Gte there out of breath to fuck and explain to the guy behind the counter what i want his reply was.....


Have you got any id.......................

What the fuck would a 15- be up at this time asking for 30 fags???

I need id ..... At this point relly lost the plot ( cause i couldnt go back saying i got ided to 10 guys)

Lucky the bastard gave me them but what is the point!

Got ID'd in Tescos for booze a couple of months ago, and I'm 28.

I get asked for ID to check I'm under 50.

I was very tall from a young age and hence never got questioned much - which, as you get older, starts to make you feel more and more self-concious :|
This machine may at times offer a choice where the player has every chance of bankruptcy

There certainly seems to be a 'crack down' going on around my way. Lot's of pubs are asking everyone who looks marginally under 30 for ID. I have seen a few police 'busts' (I like a woman in uniform! ;) )

One good thing - Less chavs in pubs.

One bad thing - Less chavs to do their Giro in the machines in pubs.

I was in the pub a couple of weeks ago in the city centre, my girlfriend got asked for id at the bar, she's 26.

Whilst over in the US in '97 with my Mum (for my brother's graduation), all three of us got asked for proof of age (i.e. over 21) at a bar before being allowed in. I was 24 at the time, my brother 22 - so fair enough there. But my Mum? She was 55 for Christ's sake! Could this be a record?

Only ever been ID'd a few times, I was the one who got roped in to buying the booze for all my mates when we were 15/16.

Height definitely helps, along with the broken blood vessels on the nose, hacking smokers cough, yellowing teeth...... :D
