well, if memory serves me correct, Cable only had two exclusive channels - The Box, which only showed two videos a day because each operator had their own version and no cunt wanted to ring up to select a video and even when they did it would be half an hour before it was shown anyway
And one other one whose name implied that the programmes it showed were not pre-recorded.

ah, fuck it close enough!
L!ve TV, owned and operated by Mirror Group broadcast 15 Aug 1995 to 31 Oct 1999.

The Spice Girls performed Wannabe on the afternoon magazine show 425, named because it was on 4pm to 5pm.
See it here:

It was laughable, not because of the performance, rather the amateur production, cameramen walking into shot and the unnatural obbsession with crotch shots!
L!ve was revived in 2003 but just showed repeats of its first incarnation then it became Babeworld, a dial-a-whore channel.
If you watch the performance, check out the other segments esp. the gardening show, quality!

Yea, Topless darts and when the 3 people stopped watching they revitalised it by doing topless darts in space, on ice, at the circus etc.
They had the weather in swedish or later the midget Rusty Goffe bouncing on a trampoline.
In many ways L!ve was way ahead of its time, they had JaneyCam which was a forerunner to the dial-a-whore channels. Every night they would have a bird laid on a bed slowly stripping while a voiceover says "ring now, before we go off air, if we get enough callers she will get her knickers off" it was obviously pre-recorded and EVERY night just as she hooked her thumbs round her thong the voiceover would say "you werent quick enough, see you tomorrow."
Then we had the News Bunny, on the news broadcasts a tea boy would dress up in a rabbit costume and make silly actions behind the presenter.
Nearing the end of its life L!ve did a show called "Life After L!ve" where they showed what the presenters who made their name on L!ve were doing at the time they included Richard Bacon and Anthea Turners sister, whatever she was called.
By this time News Bunny had been "sacked" and they showed him living in shop doorways, drinking and gambling.
Heartbreaking :-(
