You've asked this before and it is almost impossible.

However, I think I can remember the solution, but I'll wait and see if anyone can do it first.

No calculator and stumped. Probably have to go astronomical and divide by something silly and then you're nearly there.
I believe the bald ref running from right to left was Roger Kirkpatrick, wasn't it? He was a bit of a character and one of the first media-recognised referees. :)

not sure if i can get away with this but it's always worth a try.

100+ 25=125
125-6=119

now for the good bit....................

hold a mirror against the 3 to make an 8 and multiply the 119 by it.

voila! 952

yeah it is a stinker. sorry.

but astonishing mental arithmetic in 30 seconds:

100 + 6 = 106

106 x 3 = 318

318 x 75 = 23,850

23,850 - 50 = 23,800

23,800 / 25 = 952

i guess Lugsy gets it for creativity with smoke and mirrors

Is that the famous Mr Holder ?

i dunno who mr holder is but for the n00bs:

the yemen thing is a long-standing (and not particularly funny) gag about porkpie from desmond's; whenever you have reason to say that country name, the rules are you have to do it in the style of porkpie saying yeah mon.

anyway, if it is not yemen: YUG, PRC, ITA, NZ, BEL, NED? (not facetious guesses, i'm pretty sure belgium and holland made claims to antarctic territories).
