F-S-M gets it.
The inventions man (Q) didnt appear until a few films in.
And part of me wants to say he wasnt in the most recent one. (John Cleese obviously replacing the late Desmond Llewllyn).

Sticking with the Bond theme:
In which film did Bond first give up his Berretta in exchange for the Walther PPK?

I believe the book in which he was issued with the PPK was Doctor No , after the silencer on his Beretta caught on his clothes as he tried to draw it in From Russia With Love . But I can't remember if that's the first film he uses it in.

It certainly is
(I was wondering if anyone was going to go for the film that followed From Russia With Love due to the books and films being in different orders)

I must stop answering questions when I don't have a follow-up question.
Classic and easy: Ian Fleming also wrote
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang , but who wrote the screenplay for the film?

I could be cruel and say "And who else?" but that was the answer I was looking for
The director Ken Hughes also contributed to the screenplay. And the producer was Albert R. Broccoli, who, along with Harry Saltzman, also produced the Bond Films.

okay, about time we moved away from all this bond nonsense:
hartlepool fc's mascot (and former mayor) is called H'Angus the monkey. why the silly first name?

Because the residents wanted to make the point that they were annoyed that people kept dropping the "H" in 'Artlepool?
