Phoenix 66 and all that
Phoenix 66 and all that
not a WC66 question but here's a question I like just to get things moving again:
What happened in English football for the first and only time in 1992/93?
In a strange coincidence exactly the same thing happened in Scottish football for the first and only time in the same season.

The winners and runners up in both cups in both countries were the same- Arsenal beat Sheff Wed and Rangers beat Aberdeen.grecian wrote:Is it that the two competing teams were the same in the finals of the FA and League Cup? Pretty sure that in England at least both finals were between Arsenal and Sheffield Wednesday. That said, I'm surprised this hasn't happened more frequently in Scotland.
Only happened once in Scotland too, even though the LC has been going for 20 more years.
The deciding game in each final ended 2-1 as well
