The House of Lords has just this week voted in favour of a move to amend the Criminal Justice Bill to abolish the offences of blasphemy and blasphemous libel in England and Wales.

In which year was the last Prosecution for Blasphemy??

Yes, it is a bit vague.

It's within the last hundred years, but it's further back than '68 and '70.

One year either side would be good enough for me.

Funnily enough I came across a Facebook group dedicated to this Gott chappy just last night. It was much earlier than 1968 but I can't remember for definite. 1922?
