OK sticking with sport. there have been a number of milestones reached in the latest test match between England and Sri Lanka:

Murali eclipsing Warne's world record number of wickets and Kumar Sangakkara becoming the first player to score 150+ in four consecutive games.

What other achievment did the latter also complete (becoming only the ninth player in test history to do so)?

Average over 90 runs per test in a calendar year?

(BTW - Bowls was the correct answer to the Hilton trophy question, apologies for the delay).

For the last time YE the backgammon Hilton is not a team event for the home nations which as I recall it was part of the question.

Anyway what about the cricket Q. This must have been referred to in practically every paper over the last two days.

The link is interesting though I am intrigued to know what the "petulance and poor behaviour of Mark Telscher" was all about the year the backgammon was recorded for telly. Sounds like Telscher might bhave had a few as well.

I missed that the first time. I wonder why

Tried to find out what he'd done wrong but couldn't. I did find out that backgammon used to be in the telly.
