HE is on the right lines but it is not sassoon (useless trivia: SS's middle name is lorraine)

It might be useless but I find that sort of thing interesting (i.e. guys with girl's names). I know a woman with the middle name Martin.

nope, it is a matter of time until you get the right one it is specifically the last line which is this guy's poem, probably one of the most famous war poems out there.
