Phoenix 46- Monty's Shirt

Post by Northern Monkey »

Expect that this one will be walking straight into the forte of one or two of the regulars but here goes...

What English word has the most meanings?

Opps sorry - forgot all about set - thanks for the nudge.

Ok, Which TV show was originally to have been called 'The A-Squad'?

Sounds a bit obvious, but I'll go for The A-Team.

Let's get this over with: Captain Scarlett?

Well no. And it was Captain Scarlet by the way. It had to be a colour that was 7 letters long (as in Captain) so it would fit with the theme tune. Anderson decided in pre-production that Captain Crimson sounded gay.

Bizarre - why does Scarlet sound hard and Crimson sounds gay? Or it just me with my TV puppet fetish?

Apologies. I was confusing him with Miss Scarlett (which has two 'T's in the UK version of Cluedo ;) )

Mission Impossible?

No again.

As a clue, the name was changed because the producers got wind that The A Team was in the pipeline, so changed the neam to avoid confusion.
