Right this may be an easy one for the regular quizzers but here goes-
Which 2 countries are "double land-locked" ie completely surrounded by countries that are themselves landlocked.

Nice question.
Don't have a clue though.... I'll go for Bhutan and Laos, though I don't even think the latter is land-locked.

Yemen and Oman are both Gulf states and as such aren't landlocked at all.
I think Mauritania and Congo are also on the (West?) coast of Africa.
Andorra is of course bordered by France and Spain neither of which are landlocked so you were right there YE.

i'm gonna go for lesotho (even though i think RSA must have a coastline) and
erm... hungary, now i think that one might be quite a good guess.

Getting better- at least they are landlocked.
Hungary borders Croatia which i am told has some lovely coastal resorts.

I'm sure there are some land-locked African countries in the north-west. ... I'm buggered if I can remember which ones.
I'll go for... Mali and ... ooh, Kazahkstan

The former Czechoslovakia is I think stymied by Poland and or Germany.
Mali looks to be next to Mauritania.
kazakstan is a good guess but I guess is next to Russia which has a pretty long coastline.
Clue- neither of the answers on the card are African.

Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan? Exhasting my memory of Russio-Asian country names. Although if they both border China, I'm screwed.
Kazakstan is, IIRC, also on the Caspian Sea.

Good guesses-right line of thinking but I think you are right in that they are both bordered by China.
The Caspian is treated as a lake for these purposes as despite being salt water it is itself completely landlocked.
The above comment provides a further clue as to the identity of at least one of them...
