Ok, back to numbers, slightly harder than Fibonacci this time.

What is the name of the group these sequences belong to ?

(0 1 4 6), (0 1 4 9 11) and (0 1 4 10 12 17) ?

Ok maybe a bit obscure - they are all golomb rulers, and also optimal golomb rulers.

This thread died, but see if you can solve this riddle!

You are staying in a Travelodge with poet Amy Lowell.
You have bought the rooms online at the same time as one another. You both stay on the first floor, though sleep in seperate rooms. Rooms are of equal value. No damage is done, nor does anyone behave antisocially, and you check in and check out at the same time as each other, which is well within the Check in/out limits. You both stay for one night only.

Question is-How come Amy Lowell's stay costs significantly more than yours? And a bonus point for an explanation that is correct!

There is a bunch of rowdy residents come in and make noise all night. Under their terms and conditions you claim a full refund under their "silentnight" policy, but Amy was deaf and still had a good nights sleeep ?
