They won a Grammy award, but it was later revealed that they were miming and the real singers were session singers.

Then again, Frank Farian, had history in this respect as manager of Boney M, claimed to have sung on several of their records.

Think at the start of Dylan Thomas' Under Milkwood the clock strikes thirteen in llareggub. Dunno about the end though?

ahh! 1984 ,i remember it like it was yesterday...or maybe the day before.

1984 was arguably a very good year for pop music with half a dozen singles selling over a million copies.

twas also the year i popped my cherry :lol: .... but that's another story :wink:


o.k one group spent 15 weeks at no1 that year with their first 3 singles and were only kept off the christmas number one by the almighty band-aid.
