Can't be a horse race if it was only 1959, so I'll go for a motor race. Le Mans?

Close, but Le Mans is a bit older.

Cannonball Run (or is that fiction)?

Posted: Mon Feb 22, 2010 3:26 pm
by harry2
The Cannonball Run is based on an illegal four time run race in the 1970's from New York to LA.

Getting closer, think of a video game !

They used to have the standalone coin op in The Buzz on Hales Street.
I was going to say Mille de Miglia, I've just googled it so I could spell it correctly :o ops: and I've also seen it is the wrong answer.

I can't remember if the video game was called Mille de Miglia, I think it was basically a rip off of micro machines, or the other way around, maybe it was called mini de miglia as it was that sort of perspective and the cars were very small.
