And i seem to remember that i read once in Conde Naste that Shalim was the god of dusk, and also as i recall, the twin brother of Shahar, the god of dawn.

correct ,Shalim the phoenician god of the dusk,they must have had loads to have one in charge of the dusk,kind of makes gods less omnipotent i think. you may as well have one mid afternoon,or maybe elevensees.
