Yay, first for a while.

What are (apparantly) known as "witches knickers" in Ireland and "white pollution" in China?

You have to work out the final score yourself, then do a screen grab or post this:

can someone confirm that using 3x triple squares means score x27? or is it score times 9?

To answer UP's question, is it Tomorrow's World?

And to answer Northern Monkey's question, are there letters in place already? Do they go on the trebles? I take it you use all the highest scoring tiles?

I remember a while back I saw somebody's solution for the highest ever move. It made (in 1 turn), the words BENZOXYCAMPHORS, SQUANDERMANIAC, JITTERBUGGERY and quite a few others which I can't remember.
Nothin to do with me chief.

In answer to the Ireland/ China thing, complete guess I will go for mushrooms?

I make 2893 Cardinal, see if you can better it (or anyone else if you are interested)

this score assumes 3x triple word IS x27 word score...

Oh well. We're both close enough. Honour is satisfied.

Is the answer fog / mist / low clouds?

bastard! why would you have a tile left though? Post your solution, put a different colour for the last 7 tiles you lay.

Ah. Fooknots. I see how you can make it bigger.

Though I can't see why you would have a tile leftover. Unless you were trying to show off of course
