anyway another clue about that country:
it has been an independent state for less than a year but was represented in the world cup 2006.

From your clue over the page I think it must be Montenegro.

I've not been to this forum before so I hope I don't get the rules wrong. It seems as if you can ask a question on anything - so I'll ask which English / Scottish league football club's ground is furthest from a railway station?

common sense are the rules basically. but good to see a new name on the wall of this old house.
furthest from a railway station? i know the madejski is in some grisly retail park so i'll guess reading.

No, a lot further than the distance from the Madejski to central Reading.

hmm somewhere remote then. this is where an embarrassing lack of national geography lets me down. i get dizzy north of the watford gap.
how about peterhead, that's in the middle of nowhere.

If that was a guess, it was an exceedingly good one: yes, the nearest railway station to the Balmoor Stadium is apparently Inverness, 32 miles away.

i had a look at a map and picked the northeasternmost name i recognised as i know that nothing much happens there.
number next, the language of flowers:
according to victorian etiquette how many roses should you present to a lady if you are proposing?

LOL. Before the retail park the site of the Madejski was a rubbish tip. I can see it from my office.
I'll ask a question, even though it may not be my turn.
If I was born on 1st Jan 7 bc and died on in 2nd Jan 32 ad how old would I be when I died ?

as for age - not sure if 0 is counted in the BC AD stuff so i'll go for 38
