My initial thought was Tales of the Unexpected what with the fire, ladies, playing cards firearms etc (i was enthralled as a youngster, especially by the dancing girls!); but it wasnt really sci fi so i am guessing Blakes 7?

If 111 is England's bogey number at cricket, what is Australia's equivalent, where more batsmen are dismissed than other numbers close to that score ?

nope, it is not a sport in the traditional sense, in fact it is not even really a game, more an activity taken to extremes. but the americans love it.
