Cheers H- will you enlighten us as to the track for completeness?

OK relativley easy one as I am a bit busy- how many ways are there of being recorded as out are there in cricket and list them please?

Welcome to the Phoenix Ash- you are almost right but not quite there with the so called mysterious 11th way.

If you retire hurt you are technically given as not out if you do not resume your innings.

However if you retire for any other reason (eg give the others some time at the wicket) and dont resume then you are recorded as out.

Close enough though so over to you.

Was it one of our PMs? Seem to remember that not all of our PMs actually used the title whilst in office in that they were called something else (First Lord of the Treasury) and then at some point the current incumbent decided to rechristen himself as PM a title that then stuck.

How about David Lloyd George?
