Some of those are pretty lame Harry, and I firmly believe you can come up with a list like that for ANY two similar events, think of the billion of things the assassinations DIDN'T have in common.

There were theories that Booth was part of a greater conspiracy
There were theories that Oswald was part of a greater conspiracy

this particularly got my goat, seeing as EVERY piece of big news in america gives a 'theory of a greater conspiracy'

It's a good story though. Cherie's dad was famous for "Till death Do Us Part" and The Confessions films !!!!!! 8)

Yes indeed. The answer was of course Cherie Booth, and her father certainly did star in some god-awful soft-porn flicks in the 70s.

Over to you H2.

Oooops.

My sincere apologies Northern Monkey. If I wasn't so obsessed with creating shoddily-researched questions, playing Sue at Scrabble, chatting to my mates AND doing a solid day's graft, I might have noticed that you get the question right practically instanteously.

Over to you sir....

p.s. I think Samhain is a New Year festival for witches or something like that, but even if I'm right I certainly don't deserve to ask any questions. :(

Think it changed recently UP and thats probably why I read about it.

Anyway it is somewhere between your guess and the Cardinal (although perhaps those sweaty socks get a bit more up there?)

I think we're on the same MW as you - even though the cost of living is a lot lower up here. However, on the other hand, our quiz machines are still full of London-orientated questions, so I guess the two cancel each other out.

£5.70?
