bloody hell ,,,,,,,,,, my first ever question ,

the trouble with the quiz is , you never know if people are google /cheating it ,,,, you just have to hope they dont and get into the spirit of things ,,,,, the only other alternative is to ask something personal ,,,,,,,, but that would just get silly .

anyhoooows here goes .

before action comics 1 , and thus the modern day superman as we all know and love him .

the writer's jerry siegel and joe shuster ,,,,,, first ( in a newspaper , short comic strip) portrayed superman as what?????????

no ,,,,,,, a bald villain , not unlike lex luthor ,,,,,,, but with telepathic powers.

it only ran for 6 issues of the newspaper , then they had a rethink ,,,,,,,, the rest is history.

next question ,

which 70's - 80's major hollywood star , was offered the role outright to play superman , before turning it down , which led to a rethink for the casting director , to go with an unknown newcomer ( christopher reeve) ???????

thanks Lee,i think i got muddled up with captain america on your previous question,i'd never of guessed superman was a bad guy with a penchant for spanking women.

reynolds rang a bell somewhere though.

maybe a clue is needed to get this rolling again,so for the dolts.........

the zero refers to the election year ,and since 1840 reagan was the first president to elected in a year ending in 0 who managed to do what?

the zero factor has seen every president elected in a zero year since 1840 assasinated; reagan ,elected 1980 ,a man thought to be unable to outsmart a pullet ,outsmarted the bullet thus ending the jinx.
