For once, not a disappointing experience on this tonight. Every time I go I lose all my winnings from the machine next to it, and vow never to play it again, and next time I still end up trying 'one quick quid' for a quick steal which usually end up turning into about a tenner for nothing in.

Anyway, third spin I got the 3 chests onto the board, and straight away it offered 3 shots. I very, very nearly took it and perhaps I should have done, maybe getting a quick steal of 3 quid (its a £5 JP), making a couple of quid profit. I foolishly played on and, of course, it took me through a sandstorm, a parrot, no chance to collect, and then killed me.

Anyway, lost another quid in it so was two down, then on the third quid, second spin, it just rolled in three red bars for the fiver jackpot!!!! What the hell is all this about???? The crappiest, worst gameplay machine, shite boards, robs all my money, then decides to just chuck the jackpot at you!! que?!

It offered a 2 with hi lo gamble to get the win streak, but I've idiotically gambled this before and lost, and whenever I've had the win streak it's only gona for a fiver anyway.

So a chuffed boy but wow....wasn't expecting that from this pile of shit!

Incidentally, has anyone ever lit all 5 parrots?? Any idea what happens?

I used to play this one its a later clone of new york new york and even worse it seems. If you light 5 parrots it gives you the "super jackpot" which is a £5 repeat chance. I once got about £30 of win streak at £5 jackpot, but I agree it is a dreadful machine. Either collect 60p or turn down then go to the end then game over

If it's anything like On The Buses (give way signd instead of parots) it will throw you and £2 or £5 repeater, kinda like a big win repeater on those old Jpms.

Both shite, not worth the time of day :)

5p £5 jpts that are good , are obviously very rare. this was shite when it first came out, and is still shite now.
It can take 60 off you backing from the first, if u get the top it is 95% of the time £4/£5 , that other 5% of the time it seems it can go 9-24.. but anything over 16 rarer than finding an arcade full of 20p play £8 jcpt roller coasters & money talks.

This machine has always been known by the players in my town as one of the worst ever. it always does suck you in, once uve put in a buck etc.. you end up putting in so much more. then think surely at some point u gonna get the top and get 10-20 back. pfft.. good luck.

Basic principle is yes, collect 60p or anything that you land on. if you dont you are just pressing start for an slightly repetative eventual game over . If you dont land on anything in your first spin on the board it seems 95% of the time you wont land on anything.
If you can somehow nudge in barcode, take the ( god its been so long since i played this peice of shite ) .. take the.... yellow bar i think... u will get a skill stop to hit each parrot, which increases in speed each time u hit one. hit them all to get the super jackpot. Whats also gay about the super jackpot if obtained by parrots, is that if it repeats, it only repeats for £4, then if it repeats it only repeats for £3. its a completely retarded machine, and made of the strongest glass in the world for obvious reasons.
Coconut shy is the only half decent feature, simply because you can , if u have any skill.. hit the coconut on a reel skill a few times to obtain top feature. This machine is one of the worst £5 jpt machines i ever came across in 25 years of gambling. its bollox.
no real tips for it as far as i know, only if u get the treasure chests in colour order ( Red Green Blue ) then it flashes and lets you get to the top .
also , the same colour chests, ( green green green , etc ) then you can doing a reel skill on the number real.. acheive the top. But , Going hi/lo on almost any number other than the obvious 1/12 , almost always kills you off to. If you dont collect whatever u land on when playing a normal board, it nearly always kills you. i think in witnessing maybe 10'000 normal boards, ive seen it roll onto the top about 4 times. thats not good if an uneducated player is trying to push it. It almost simply cannot be forced. A lil run/streak is sooooooo damn rare, and often random.
For the uneducated player, it is one of the biggest rip offs in history. an educated player can do 45 in this if its really bad , in25 mins. an uneducated player ... i would not like to think

i am reffering to the 10p play version mind . the 5p play version , u cannot win anymore than £5 out of it, whatever feature or jackpot you get. its impossible... or atleast, it is in my town. simply impossible. :)

id rather dump 20 bucks in crack the nut and have a laugh while im losing....

Also on the subject of £5 JP's, i had 10 mins to spare a few days back, and managed to walk into an arcade that had a money monster(empire?? pcb clone ish that gave me the easiest JP ever, that repeated 5 times.... good fun, also a PCB that gave blue bars on over the top that repeated 4 times, not been so lucky for a few years with repeats, ended up £40 odd up

lol.. did not know about the emptier for x marks. i know its one of the most irritating machines ever made. thanx for that anfield ;)

money monster.. one of my all time favs. they had it in Folkestone Dome arcade at 5p play £5 jackpot . it was good to pass the time when nothing was worth playing. and occasionaly.. like every 3 months.. it would go on a run. i dont know if the 10p or whatever version does this, but when u start the board with a bonus.. if the bonus adds up to at least 3 bonuses or more, straight away..... *thinks hard* can barely remember what bonuses they are, but if it flies straight upto the 3rd bonus or 4th bonus, instead of just the move back 3 or Add again bonus, then it should then be on a run. it will give a fair few boards and u will notice each time that the bonus flies straight upto the 3rd or 4th bonus at the start of the feature. each run ive seen or had has usualy been between 40-60 quid. but occasionaly 20-30 . every board, providing you dont feck it up, will be a jackpot of some kind. Am sure u also know this, but the easiest way to get jackpot on that machine is a feature on the 2nd to top row, called reel magic i think. its on the right hand side of the top row. providing you got an jackpot on one of the 9 visible reels, it will let you hit an patheticly slow skill stop to choose this jackpot. so if u got a lot of nudges available and can obtain this feature, take the shots, get the feature, then nudge down a jackpot so its visible on any of the 9 spots.
i stopped playing when the bastards in folkestone and margate upped the Red 5p play crazy fruits from 5p to 10p a play, but with the exact same progam lol. Always used to take 40-50 out of that machine on each visit..
can anyone tell me, is this not technicly illegal ??? i mean... they have a 10p play version of red crazy fruits in other towns, ive played it,it plays a proper 10p play program.. but is not changing a 5p program to an 10p play , without changing the play of the machine, illegal? you cant win out of it anymore, ihe changed the program 4 times to stop me doing this, and the 5th time, left the program as it was, just upped the price per credit, is that not illegal??? :o \ . he decided this was the only way to stop me taking an quick 50 out of it, and it worked. the bastard. but i was greedy i told a friend or 2 about it, after doing it for a good 2 years. no1 else ever seemed to know how to outplay that program :D . as far as i know, cause in 2 years i always took this money from each visit.
I dont really play machines any more, i was always an arcade player, and we allknow how shi t those places have got now. i miss money talks and roller coaster. obtaining diagonal money signs hidden features on money talks was an absolute boner, gaurunteed jackpot as u can take skill cash and use cancel . damn i loved that machine.. once taking 60 out of the 20p £8 jcpt version only for them to refill it and take another 60 . they had like 10 roller coasters and about 8 money talks once upon atime in my arcade. it was sick. i just play poker now, any form of gamble is good, as long as the odds are in your favour :D

oh dear, just reading this thread just realising what machine you are talking about, forgot the name of it. Its a clone of the equally as bad New York New York isnt it?

I once did get about £50 up on a £5 one once it just went absolute nuts, about 3-4 boards every £ kept landing on decent amounts on board.

Have to agree though apart from 1 lucky playing session, this was the most least fun £5 machine I have ever seen, collect 60p? No, ok lets go all the way around the board without having option to collect before we land on game over square.

Didnt this one always use to take you rightto the top of the board where any number but a 2, you were laughing, of course it rolled in a 2 999999 out of a million times.

yeah, you must collect any win/feature however small, it just keeps landing on the sandstorm square and giving naff all otherwise, coconut shy is an ok feature if your any good on your skills. rubbish machine on the whole.
