Party Time

Right. Slow day.
Finished up at Boatleys. No juice in anything, in fact most lively was Al Murray!
Anyhow I get offerred from another puntling a.....wait for it........
Party Time.
Now it's Monday, day before audit. It's full. It has had a full pot (about £250) thrown into it, for very little return and then some. The staff hadn't seen it pay out in ages anyway.
I'm a little wary of these. I know these machines are very long cycle and don't play ball when full.
A little while ago I had gone in another site and Andrew was there and he mentioned a Party Time had £200 odd lost in it and if I wanted it, it may be woorth me jumping on it as he was tied up on two B3s. I scoffed in his face and told him the perils of jumping on a Party Time on the take.
In defiance he jumped on and in £13 had a XXX plus up top for £50ish.
It's the old bet red, black, bet black, red situation I feel.
Anyway I said....what the heck, I'll give it a board.
£15 for XXX (£1)...no top.
£7 for XXX + hold (£2) no top...
£6 for XXX (£1) PLAYER JG it's you!!! £2.
£27 in for roll in XXX (£1) no board followed by roll in BBB (£5) no board.
£4 back no win
I'm not sure if I should go back for it at doors or not.
I know it's as near as hell as random at times. So I'm after second opinions.
The very good outcome (impossible)
-------------------------------------------
A sudden 'turn' in mood and the totally fictional end of cycle hopper dumping streak.
The not happening with my luck outcome
-----------------------------------------------
A quick £50-£150, stress free, easy to get.
The I'm just not that lucky
------------------------------
A quick £20-£50 and I cut and run
The probable
--------------
A mind numbingly boring session of being £200 down, but battling long and hard to get £150 back and spending four hours to lose another £50 and actually feeling happy to be another £50 down.
The also quite probable
---------------------------
A complete piss take of £70ish per up top for £2-£5 each time. The highlight being roll in bars which hold. This goes on for several hours by which time I realise I've missed out on playing a few decent hi-techs in the area, hell even games etc and I get very angry and smash up the machine. My personal gripe is programs which have been DELIBERATELY programmed to have long DOOM periods to suck you in as it's full, but hey it's not paying out. It seems to work for ASTRA, they alienate a fair few customers, a few customers get barred as they smash up the machine, grannies love them though as they don't mind losing £1000 for a cup of coffee and they can't deal with dials and boxes, has to be fucking Os and Xs. Jesus, dials and boxes are the way to avoid dementia, that's what I tell them, although I think they keep forgetting.
I know when they are being ok, but still taking money....it gets full, BAM they seem to pay a bit back. It's when they go click, this is the COLD BLOOD SUCK YOU DRY that care is needed.
So the needle is pointing to sack it off even though it has taken £100s for very little return.
Annoyed with self for chancing my arm. It could have swung the other way....no it couldn't, not with my luck, I can't even win on dials that are dialling and whooping to £1.50 these days for Christ's sake!
Anyway second opinions. Mystery plum was useful with his advice on Big 7 last time, where I think I broke even after someone, possibly a stray chef, had done their life savings.
Noted rough pattern on all long cycle crap.....
PLAYER ONE: DO LIFE SAVINGS
PLAYER TWO: Whack £200 over the back and be relieved to win £201 back six hours later
PLAYER THREE: PUT IN £2 AND TOTALLY OUT THE BLUE GET A £100 STREAK.
PLAYERS 4-?:LOTS OF RANDOM LOSE A BIT WIN A BIT LOSE A BIT UNTIL X COINS HIT THE BOX AND BACK TO STAGE ONE
The question and problem is how far is it through phase one, does it always go to phase two and where did I put those blue socks?
Thoughts please gentlemen. Punt it, sack it or smash it?
Or consider it safer than a new chip HLS with anti-player fully active?
