Just thought I'd bring you all a little morning cheer.
Cluedo is getting a £70 upgrade as well as Monopoly Here & Now. :P

I have a feeling that where they're upgrading the older machines - they'll start to circulate them again. Could be good - no pressure on the 'Sk1llz' when you're one away from the £70 (or MS)!!!

I've seen 3 Cluedos in the last week, so they're not that rare. Also Hof's are getting the upgrade. As is the deel wheel but that'll no doubt be fixed across the board soon.

I really hope that they use this opportunity to introduce some new ideas though. The gap between £35 / £70 is huge. It would be pleasing to see phased wins between the two, such as £45, £50, £60, etc. Although frankly, I can't see it. 'Developers' and I put that in quotes, because they really have developed little over the last few years - clones and re-hashes in my view, are not developments, are probably laughing at the fact that all they have to do is double everything up. Essentially, nothing changes. The only 'real' change is that we'll have to put double in to get double back (if you reduce that, it's not really a change at all, at least not mathematically).
Potenetially exciting times, but also potentially ruiness times...

Depends how lazy they are. They could upgrade the entire program which may change the game, or as I expect them to do they may just release new decals & prize key changing the MS to £70

How much does a HOF on its arse cost to board at £70jp then? Bearing in mind you can pay £15 on 30p on a £35 jp HOF.

I'd expect the prize and stakes will change rather than them re-coding the game....it'd be a pointless exercise. Like you say though, most have buggered off, seen a few down the coast on £5 now too. I'd expect many will see their days away rotting in arcades now rather than in pubs. How dead would they go after a £70 GUAC though...

Well it'll be £12 for your board, for a £4 Colonel Cash.
