Gamesmedia - doable or not?

Post by alcozar »

I've seen a friend of mine playing various of these such as Warped, Billy the Quid e.t.c and usually gets a top and profit within about 20-30 quid recycled while collecting almost all wins 3 pound plus along the way.

Anyone seen/had similar results playing these since i'm beginning to think they are very doable but i'm missing something important, he usually only has a float of 100ish max.

I've never really thought about what collecting the low wins on each board would do to these - maybe it doesn't set it back as much as we all 'think' it would?

I suppose it depends on how the 'top' boards are hidden amongst the junk boards? If it's credit cycles, then this method would work, if it's fully % based, then I doubt it would. Interesting though.

Warped and Goldrush were good earners for me, OK sometimes you'd be £80 in for a £105 followed by a few £5/£10 wins, but have also had some £105s from as little as £2 before (yes, that was VERY lucky!)

I said 'were' above as they've all pretty much dissapeared too now; the world domination of No-Soul Edmonds continues! :(

Not sure really, i certainly don't recycle when i push them. They block enough as it is at the best of times, the last thing you want is to set it back even more!

I stuggle to believe this, 'usually gets a top' i reckon you could do a ton in a billy/bucks just collecting all the £3 wins, would take a while though, especially if its lively to begin with, i've been a ton in on these forcing from full and offering £10 cash shot early doors, it just kept going flat £35 on me over and over, ended up losing about a score and was on it over an hour, i have had some great results on these, thats what keep me going back, including the huge £140 it does every so often, first £35 made up of bits then 3 lots of cool games on the trot, all from the same board, i reckon your mate has been lucky alcozar.

Erm, ok so at worst in this example you make a minimum of £25!??! These do go for £35 if they have done £105 recently, doesn't matter whether you get the top red or not, if the streak pot aint full it will be £35 on the red top, not £105 or 70! If you don't know the refill etc. then you can't really play them, infact if I played one in a "done" area I would expect the red top feature to be £35, NOT £70 or £105! Okay I take it you know the score with the ones you are playing matt hence your results, but I'm just making the point that people seem to think these global red top features are always £105, where it is completely untrue, and it is related to whether the streak value is there, which is not denoted by a) what it is offereing or b) whether its full.

ob - I agree that the red is not always the £105 - I've had my fair share of £35s - although £70 seems to be the rare one. I did keep tabs on the three or four that I was playing and would only take them on once or twice a month (if signs were good) so I could confidently say that the worst I done when taking them on fully would've been about £20-£10 up. Of course, that's not including the odd tenner or so lost from trying one to find that it's in no-go mode.

Note I'm only talking about the Warped & Gold Rush here (Warped, moreso) and not Billy the Quid - which I know can be a lot more tight / difficult to tell where you stand.
