Deal or no Deal fruit machines in Wetherspoons at Leeds Trai

@ Leeds Train Station.
I know a few people on this board on here and are from Leeds. And no doubt go in the Wetherspoons @ the train station since when the phone trick was made public on the DOND, it was getting rapped by about 10 people.
But has anybody seen a huge uprising in chavs these machines attract, especially in this boozer, kinda pissing me off since its the closest place for a beer after work.
I'm sure this isn't the only place that attracts them, but Im seriously thinking of writing to the manufacturers.
The amount of chavs per square metre around a deal or no deal machine is purely ridiculous, and surely unsafe.
If it isnt another chav popping up when you turn your back, then a DOND machine has given birth to another.
Anyway rant over.

is that arcade in the train station still there ? it used to be well on top in there, i remembered getting wrong by the staff many moons ago for keeping my finger on the start button on caesars palace.
i think they had teh same branch in wakefield teh staff followed you about and this was going back 9 years ago. had some good machines.
whenever the jpms were ready the regulars would put an out of order sign on the machine so no one could play it. i wont bother naming who they are.

yer arcade is still there,
i used to work for GNER, but the place always seemed dead whenever i walked past, mind u the machines always seemed a bit dead, i dunno if its because im more into my older machines than I am these new ones, and if im honest quite clueless.
Casears Palace what a machine, never heard of the start button thing though, emptier?
Wont beat the donkey kong classic though!

Casears is my all time favourite machine 15 version that is! been after one of these for ages and if anyones selling one get it touch please!!!!!!!!!!
as for the hold start buttom trick ( think i can post this as its sold old, correct me if i'm wrong admin) if you got super golden hold and there was a boxes win on the win line hold all 3 reels straight away and then hold in start it would bank up

It was just a case of getting golden hold with your super number, no need for any holding down start that i can remember, just used to press it once when you got the boxes on the win line and it flies up to jp unless it was'nt numbering, i hold down start on every machine that allows it, just for speed really, when the machine holds/nudges then i let my finger off to hold or nudge than keep my finger on start again till it does it again, maybe this is what is being reffered to? i'm sure plenty do this, you can't do it on cash attack though, they won't let you.

holding down the start button was used to make it play faster. time was money back in those days.

that was the p1 , it had bugs in the prog. when it was dead it would do a 12 to a 12 and lose, and when dead exchaging from the cash side back to nuges via an excahge bonus the machine would crash.
the p1 would bank up to 60 rather than 45, and by pressing all 3 holds it would cancel the holds.
good machine though.
in the machine down the road i could remember they had a similar machine called cash up on a very low % , similar machine. i think the arcade is called amusement king, when a miserable woman called maureen working there. there was also a very didgy lotta luck in there, remebered knocking back 5 reds to get 20 on the cash streak . very strange.
somenone was also doing the mad money martians in there.

I dont think im alone when i say this, but long gone is the day when you could actually enjoy playing a machine.
Some of them at 50p a pop it can ruin your night. eg £10 get you 20 spins.
Compared to an old classic where if you need to put it in £10 will get you around 200 spins with some great gameplay.
thnk god for emulators.

Some truth in that - I agree that you can lose a tenner far too quickly.
You don't get much play for your money and there's precious little skill involved.

Ceasars palace is on the infiniti cabinet (ie. video screen), and it plays very similar to the old £15 machine. Doesn't block roman reels etc., numbers, super GH works, super fast cash its all there lol!
