The kind of machine I'm speaking of is of the variety where you can hit the button whereby it flashes all over the board and either gives you cash or a feature.
From the language used above you'll be able to tell I'm not a player in the slightest.
Played one last night (The Gunpowder Slot) and it was a fiver for the first board, lost third spin with only £3 collectable. Played another few quid, board - beat 3rd spin only £2 collectable.
Was about to walk away (was only playing with change) when I put in an extra 10p to make in up to 30p. Spun on board where I was offered £3, or shoot a fruit (or something like that). The hidden message said that the 'cash or bust' (again dont know the name) would also be shoot a fruit. So hit cash or bust for the hell of it.
Shoot a fruit - 3rd feature on the board, 5 cherries in view, and it gives a blue 7 for £15. Blind luck I know, but I cant say I'm a big fan of a machine whereby you can crap out really early and it gives a big win. Yet if I'd played on I would've probably been bumped off with only the option of £3.

Its known as a COB(Cash Or Bust) and is the only way of getting a half decent win when the board you are playing is a dead one(eg- Blocking at £2/£3).
You cant really read what they are gonna give(unless like your board it tells you) but a half decent one comes around every now and again or x amount of credits.
No CYBTB comments please!!

its the best way to take value out of all bellfruits, not sure whether the same applies for QPS/Mazooma which i believe the gunpowder slot is? Bellfruits have a £75 'cycle limit' in which they must achieve a 'substantial' win within this £75 period, and before you all go rushing out in the morning to the local bellfruits, don't bother it does not mean you are going to win on it. A substantial win is £7+

Where did you get this idea from ?
Roulette free since December 2011.
Steven how can you say COB is seperate on BFGs?
I have a £25 jackpot 4 reeler DOND and I am fairly certain it is not seperate. I would concede there is probably some reflex 'due a big one' type COB programming in there though.
So to cut through the dark and cloudy and mysterious routine, you know aporgrammer at BFG?
What's the SP on all the GATWs eh?
With Cops 'n Robbers (3*colour safe one) you were getting £75 on normal %s. Three seperate ims or one that repeated twice or a £50+£25. On 72% in services you were getting £50. ON 92%+ it could go mental for circa £150 on ims.
Anyway I'd say about £2.5k cycled between ims at a GUESS. DONDs seem a bit different and it feels as if style of play affects ims.
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW A FLASH ON A WIYB? My last time was on a p2 in N*ne**on in the Spoons back in...wait for it.............JANUARY 2008.
When I was playing the p1 had flashes reasonably frequently. Didn't get on the p2 bandwagon too quick
ops: but several million months later when I did, no flashes. Ditto you'd think ripping the odd p3 you'd see the occassional flash, but nowt.
Had a random im on P5 the other week, think I told you all about it. Beat the banker it seems you have to force it and then some AND THEN SOME and it's just like it's paying back main percentage as a flash. These are wierd. 4 reelers seem to cyclic flash but you can just get a poxy single £45ish or whatever.
Steven do some clues or something please. 4 reelers suck hard when just flashed and loosen up when due. Do some interesting facts. Please. Thanks. NO masking the important facts,
