i know what you mean, ,,,, in the good old days , a taken credit would mean a repeat or a win of some kind , but now they just rob the extra credit lol

you noticed that some machines (normally reds) will bank massive if they are going to repeat, as they dont spit out till the whole win is paid?

ive had a few with 70ish in the bank from recycling jp's then getting a 105, which banks all the way to 175 then spits out the whole lot to the bank limit..... but it doesnt spit the individual 35's till you hit a lose or the winstreak finishes...

i was playing dond wow on saturday and i had a quid in my box
i had 0.00 credit and it repeated to £4 then said insert credit i said to a mate "it wont repeat now" so i put £1 in and it repeated again then no repeat.
so i think its just randon on some machines.

You think that is robbing?

Have u seen the new Gold Strike or something - can't remember who makes it. But u get pickaxes and go round the board and u can add gems which u can collect at anytime.

Not a bad machine - in fact i don't mind it but...

If ur gems add upto say £3.50 then that's what u win - no rounding up! It's also the same on the cash. £1.50 is £1.50 not £2.

And the worst bit - listen to this - is when u go to collect it u can't collect the 50p u have to transfer it over to credits and play it off.

Shocking! And back to the gems if u get say £2.20 u can only collect £2 then have to transfer the 20p then get another 30p out of ur pocket to play!!! Cheeky fuckers!

Surely that is illegal. I thought that you must be able to collect all of your bank. Is this the video version or normal version?

You may be surprised, but in fact for quite a while now there has been a disclaimer written on the glass of most Catagory C games stating that the machine only pays out in units of £1 and any win smaller than that will be required to be played off as credits. It's more than a year since I first noticed this (on a Winstopper iirc) ) and I wondered how long it would be before this change was implemented. As of yet Goldstreak is the only machine I have encountered that is affected by this, although it appears that only the mechanical versions are doing it at present as opposed to the digital version of the game in 'The Player' cabinet which still rounds up your wins.

So it looks like the days of 'Bonus wins' are soon to be behind us. Yet another change that I'm sure will go down a storm with Joe Public on the back of 50p credits and £5 transfers. I've recently had two seperate locations (pub and a nightclub) get rid of machines only to have put dustbins in there place, the sad thing is, at this rate, the cashbox takings will probably be much the same. :|

plus, if you look on the bright side...

any new programming implimented on fruities usually leaves a few trails of bad programming....

the first few machines with it on will havce major faults

Ha Alpine i have played one

Yes you are right
I had £7.70 in gems thought ok thats £8
Collected it gave £7
Now where is my 70p as that is not part credit
Give me the 50p and the 20p is part credit
Had to play it off

As you say though not the usual shit it seems ok
Of course i did not force it though so who knows
Likes cheap boards which these days is refreshing

I think its Gold Streak by electrocoin
