I know this is ancient now but one's just arrived in my local pub, i tried DOND feature rip when on a ? and it works but this is only ever good for a quick pinch, is there anything else on this machine or was that it?

what more do you want mate? its a full empty, can't ask for more than that really, i would'nt be playing it for a ''quick pinch'' i'd be cleaning it out, got one too do tommorow.... just hope there is something in it.

I may have got this wrong but how can it be a full empty if it's taking £10-12 for a feature then offering no more than £8 and ending up with a small blue. And that's not including the 'game over' features which seem to come round way too often!

We did take a profit of £30 or so but the longer we played the more it was taking for each board.

Boards will come in at £12 all the time when its dead. You can fully do them with time and patience. I had a LL £250 hopper one turn up right in the middle of town a month ago which myself and another player battered to hell before they got wise and changed it for a SMTM last week. Hundreds up though so can't moan.

Learn the boxes, play 30p and try and squirm out of game overs where possible.

Thanks mate, i've worked out 3 boxes so far (£4, £15 + 20), none of the others I was offered had any markings on but at least it's s start!

It's in the smallest pub in town with no note changer so it's probly only a £125 hopper, i'll have another crack tomorrow see if i can suss it out

Whats it worth?

I doubt there will be much interest in a single hopper if its miles away, you can end up putting too much over the back, the £5 box is an easy one too spot

let me have it and all the other stuff around there and il show you how to do it, aslong as its got £100 in it!

havent seen a single one of these since it was taken out of one of my more local watering holes, i thought bell fruit (bell end) games had withdrawn them all cos of the amount of tricks etc on it. wish i could find another unchipped one.............

I went back and had another go earlier, it took £18 for the first feature which gave £4, after playing around £50 through we'd eventually managed to take out about £80 (taking £12 every couple of quid during play making sure we didn't arouse suspicion), played for one more feature which gave £20 but emptied after £4 leaving a £16 IOU!

How is this even possible on a £35 JP machine, i thought the hoppers were a minimum of £125? We counted after leaving and we'd took aabout £75 out in total plus the £16 from behind the bar, not a bad profit but hardly worth it if it's only got a £75 hopper!!
