For a mildly more sensible response:
It is a shabby machine, but if you can get into the middle board by any means, do it, and take your cashpot and run. Cashpot is usually £4-£20. There's one feature that's always £8 (hi lo cash thing, can't recall the name?) if you're playing on all red mode.
Out of the one force I did perform, however, got a £105 from the red QV (IM board) but that took a good £80 to get, and was not overly enjoyable. Boards are short, hi/lo's almost always kill you off, and the blocks are too obvious.
So, to basically sum up what I and everyone else has said, you're probably better off putting the change from your pint in the johnny machine...
