If a machine can be sued for false info, this wuld be it

I was playing my favourite, Suits You Sir, a couple of days back, and it very kindly offered me an IM. Brilliant, I thought - flashing logo and even a nice message at the start of the board, what a lovely machine. :)

:( First move, landed on stoppa, and guess which square it put me on? You guessed it, lose...what the feck? Is there any logical explanation for this or was it just a program fault?

it is my favourite machine:

a) have had good luck on it every time with good results (got another IM a few boards after this

b) being addressed as "sir" makes me feel important

I rather think the machine was expecting you to hold down the Cancel button, thus making Stoppa into a Skill Stop - maybe it was shocked into offering you a random square which happened to be Game Over.

Exactly what i was goign to say....hold cancel and it moves one square at a time around the board. Just a bad error on you part.

Why the hell is it your favourite?? This is probably one of the worst machines of recent times.

oh right :S but even so an IM is an IM. on past machines if you had a true skill on a ? and u selected lose deliberately, it would actually flash up with a witty comment to the effect "u cant lose". it seems silly to land on the one square which defies the IM.

matt, i know its a clone of many other shite ones, and i have no particular reason for it being one of my favs except that for some reason i seem to have extremely good luck on it! played at least 3 different ones and every time have had a very good session indeed. just found a soft spot for it.
