IOU 32 QUID

Was playin a Gold Rush in a student bar called the 'Font' last Friday and won 85 quid. One Gold rush for £50 and another s8 after for £35, on collecting it decided to stop on 32 quid remaining and left the usual IOU error message.

Went to the bar staff and they took my details down and said they would ring me as soon as the enigineer comes out and fixes it and then pay the 32 quid. No phone call and its 2 o'clock sat afternoon, so i decided to take a walk past the bar and I saw thru the window it was back on!!!

Went in and the head barman who i dealt wasnt in, so one of the girls behind the bar rang him up. They said that its been fixed but the accounts are done every thurs so cant get paid until then!! Load of bollocks coz I know for a fact that when the enigineer repairs the MC he gives the IOU to the barstaff so that they can put aside and repay the customer. Was just wondering what do you think my chances are of getting the £32 when I call in tomorrow?? I know they're going to try and pull a fast one, but what rights have I got? Little I expect!!!

i've been told something similar, ie come back monday and you'll get your money then, and even though the machine was on the very next day i still got paid on the monday [3 days later], stand your ground and demand too get paid, don't be fobbed off and don't take no for an answer, its your money and the owe it you, ask for phone numbers of area manager works with them cabinets, not sure about the bell fruit cabinets, but worth a shot

Extreme Eddie wrote:a little tip.... a few times i've been playing something that has IOU'ed on me and unless its completely empty then just bang your key and turn it and it will sometimes pay you the rest, i've done it on a vortex and a jailbirds lately so it works with them cabinets, not sure about the bell fruit cabinets, but worth a shot
Had an ivincible that was a twat for this. IOU'd several times and all they did was switch it off n on and it paid the rest out.
