Played a few oldie Globals today one I own myself (Reel Good Time) decent day on them. Played Bat outta hell first board red nudges offering £8 ( on these know its there if offering that) take £25 jackpot, rather than top feature repeats to £75, then a few £5 boards afterwards.

Next machine Cannobal Run or Cut throat Cash( cant remember which one they are noth clones and have the same pirate theme) 2nd board £8 in get a no lose gamble streak thing, doesnt go up that board but next board gives top feature for £30 ( next board another £30 from top feature get the symbol things.

Last up play Reel Good Time naturally full offering over £10 on superboard ( offering superboard for fun). Now know this one can block and block and block but decided to push as few £ up £30 later machine caves in 3 red keys take a £50 mega serious, next board IM for another £50 mega serious. ( didnt even know it could do that) havent streaked by own for more than £75

Anyway I know thats a lucky day, but does anyone miss some of those old Globals? always had a soft spot for them

Cannonball Run, Hi Spirits, Beaver in Ibiza (?) were all fun to play and very easy to manipulate. Some £35 clones of these would be very nice. :D

You're lucky to have a RGT still. As for Beaver - yes they could be entertaining games. JTRAR/Warped were coded by some of the team responsible for Beaver. It's fair to say, entertaining games, but right Canutes at times when they wanted to be - try a 70% BLV after a reset and tell me it's manipulatable or profitable. Watch as those 4 reelblasts drop off the box onto the grape/cherry.

Yeah when Globals suck they really can do big time. I always thought most Global games had quite a bit going on, and quality audio too. Re RGT is there any JP Steals or decent things to know, had mine about month now and it seems really unpredictable went from blocking at £2 the other day to IM for £75 streak. The fact its seems fairly random is making it a bit for interesting for it being my own machine.

I have a feeling i am going to get stick for saying this but they havnt gone anywhere just calling there machines Cool games or Games media.....

i dont think these play any different to the likes of powerlines which was my favourite Global. They play very simlilar to Cool games when forcing.

I have a five pound cannonball run in the kebab shop down the road, which is definately the best 5pound machine i've played, regularly pays for my food.

Global are very much still around.

not to be confused with cool games.

unless games media uses an old global games coder to badge it up as cool games.

confusing.com!
