"mega payouts"

Hey, just got a coronation street machine in ladbrokes... didn't get a chance to play but noticed the "mega payouts" 50p option. Is this just a percentage increase or is there anything else on offer?? Sorry for the daft Q but i've genuinely never seen one on 50p round here before.

No it aint! This is a question i've been wondering about myself.
These are the original 50p stake machines that just say mega payout on the 50p button. But theres no mention of what extra your getting and everything is the same, no double numbers or numbers in view. The board starts exactly the same as 30p play. I think it's only The coranation street/Bobby Dazzler machines i've seen it on.

yeah, super board is NOT open from start; just means youre at the machine for less time I guess(!)

On Dazzlers/Coranation St round my way, the £35 50p stakes DO give you superboard, pretty worthless if flat anyway offering you £1 or something else more or less worthless with your 1 shot

Does it not just turn the features and cash red ie offering a repeat which you have no chance of getting if it doesn't want to pay.
Always thought these were pointless on 50p

Ive got a £25 30/50p Rovers Return near me which on 50p offers red cash and features on feature entry.
