Dont know if its still there but at Walton-on-the-maze (next town down) there is place called Pirate Petes Amusment Arcade which was full of good stuff. Although this was a good 4 years ago and i believe its only open at weekends...

Clacton is a complete crock to be honest. No good pubs, and the spoons os well covered. Scattered with IJ3s that just get forced as soon as they show like £4, so they're always dead. One SRM thats always on its arse. The only good thing i found was a 10p/£5 red on like 94%!

It plays like a dream!

I found a SRM in a busy city centre the other day that gave jackpot off £2. Unexpected. Anyway Clacton, I went there about twenty years ago. Probably changed a fair bit.
