They don't set up except for the afterboard bonus. Nudge rips are now chipped out. Basically its back to square one with these, force if ready.

Even forcing is shit, i'd just stay away unless glaringly ready, had 4 pound starts, followed by one one one's! Not nice!

Yowzers! If the setups and rips are now non-existent, surely people must start to come round to my view that Extremes' are pretty much not worth considering, except for the 'one board test'?

I've had some shockers on the £35 Campers and Cashalot. Not nice at all.

I had a 25 cashalot for about 3 weeks, didn't set-up bar the bonus drop, luckily for me, everytime I went there it was ready. Me no like the new extremes :(

Plays like a new-style vivd with blantent blocks. I dare say chase if ready.

Top Streak doesnt have to go in multiples of 35 either...

Speaking of Extremes, that Manic Muncher seems to be pretty random. I saw it for the first time yesterday in a Spoons, stuck a £10 note in, and got on the board about five times, four of which killed first gamble on an 11, but for some reason the third board gave £6 blue sevens on reel blasts. Left it after I played the rest of the credits out and ended up £4 down. Not too keen on this machine but at least it isn't another bloody clone!

Also with the new Extremes (Campers, Muncher etc.), you cannot collect whilst on a Mystery square like you could on Daunting or Nurses.

why were on the subject of collecting on a ?, i've just found a bucket loads near me and it lets you collect on a ?, this is only the the 2nd one of these i've ever played and i'm fairly certain on the last one i played that you could NOT collect on a ? like a campers.

anyone???

As far as I know, you can collect on Mystery on Doctors & Nurses*, Most Daunting and Bucket Loads I believe, not sure about Round the Bend.

* not sure if this applies to the Club version, not seen one yet.

I notice that Manic Muncher is the first Extreme I've seen that kills on the first gamble.

Does anyone know of any £35 Happy Campers in the South London area? Seen the £25 one (only HC I've seen and played) at London Victoria Wetherspoons, it's next to Deal or No Deal.

You can collect on question marks on anything up to Campers. That includes Nurses, Round the Bend, Bucket Loads, Most Daunting and i think Jailbirds.

Good for keyable ones, bad otherwise!

Ahh.. but Manic Muncher itself has been cloned already - Superbugs I think it's called...

I played a 50p/+6% Manic Muncher the other day - gameplay exactly the same, just less faffing about and onto the board much quicker. EVERY board seems to let you have the 3 burgers for the superboard.
