few quid into JTRR, and took £3 on the first board (off £1) tried for another, and then out of the blue £10 on the reels!! Gamble to £12? go down to £4 we go
Exchange and got £11 off the middle. So that stoooopid idea to not take £10 got me £11 extra
WHOOSH!

Heh, I had a £10 off the reels the other day just roll straight in. Gambled it (rather strangely!) up to £20! Exchanged in, two moves, death!
Grrr...

They love to throw in £10 pound, depending on if they gamble up or not will show how well its playing. They are a poor brand of machines in my opinion and when it does roll in £10, fight temptation to gamble and take the money lol
Otherwise £100 later you will get a top for a flat.

To be fair I got a Red JTRTR about £30 later that went for a cool £75. I very rarely play these as I can't stand the crap gamble to the board. I think I was about £5 up after that...

I rolled a JPTRAR for £90 odd the other day. Cost me about £70 to do it though.
This was past the £5 block too. I was starting to get twitchy at about £45 in, as i'd only had 2 £15 boards and 1 mega streak offered. Then.....got double shots active on an extra life. Already knocked out a couple of red shots, and had one record. Landed on 2 super shots (4). Took out 4/ss/5/ms. Went lower than a 10 for a 4. Took out record/record/record for the first three.....expecting another record here, but got red JPTRAR to my surprise, which went for £75. My relief was huuuuuge! Got a few nice boards after, but not a great experience really.

I am suprised you was still awake Matt
They are only good for steals in my opinion
Yes they can do the nice streaks
But mostly the tops cost too much, and the gameplay is terrible

I agree, forcing these can be a real gamble in itself, even showing.
Boring and very unpredictable. It was full and past £5 which is why i punted it......what if it had been at £3 boards! £150 odd for JP i reckon. Bloody thing. Play for steals from now on i think, can't be arsed with the risk of forcing these again. Got away this time, but could easily go pete tong.

I just play for one board, if it offers anything 4 pound or over I collect then play for more boards, have been 50 up on one once, much much safer way to play these I feel.

It's a hard game, quite popular but hard.
I played one this lunchtime and lost about a tenner.
It's very frustrating, it really makes you feel like whacking it when you lose the billionth gamble, especially when 1-2 or 1-2-3 is lit.
I know all the features but haven't really fully worked the game out. Full up properly in the arcade it's worth a go if you've spare time but it's so risky. I once put £3 in one, got red boxes and ripped a red rockstar for a disappointing £25. I went back on it and got sucked in and in the end pushed for the 'easy top' cost £150 on 86% to get white rockstar, flat £25, so it can be very harsh. Red Rockstar for £75 came 20 later but with absolutely NO afterplay. It's a funny game. Once you start forcing it goes into Rolling Around (red!), £2, inner to outer bonus Advance 1 or 9 for GAME OVER type mode. This last for about £50 then your Tommy red 4ss and £5+middles come back. Then Streaks, Rods and Rock yous.
The £5 jp is quite fun. You'll only win big when someone has run out on the force or given up way under % How exactly do these work? As I've taken £40ish out of one by taking what I could (it loosened up after I was £30 down) then it felt dead for £10 so I gave up and the person who went on it next got a flash for red JJ for £75 - ANNOYING!!!
It's kind of JPM internal reflexed, rip a £4 Rock off a £2 cash board and it'll loosen up. Wooah roll in melons for a £5, then 3ss then Spinner for 7s for £10. Rip some £2s/£3s of some shrapnel. Make a fiver.
Rip a Rocker when it's not ready and it'll clam up dreadful. Hard to read. Anyone ripped a red rock when cleary not ready for more than £25? I always seem to get £15 off discs when I unlock on green3 for a Rod for flava on middle!
Over all - nut a lunchtime gambler's game - too involving.
Then onto £5 PP and straight up on a SSS (chocka) for £15+afters MS.

I hate it when all three light up, it NEVER gives it, and when your just going for a steal you just think 'fook off!!'
Down it goes.

The worst thing about these is that they seem so unpredictable and really not safe to force. The second worst thing is that they are bloody everywhere!

Lol they were all around me but are starting to disapear which is a relief! However, they are starting to bring in Money Magic which is just as bad!!!!
It can sometimes be even hard to get a quick steal out of these, the constant "Get a win, gamble, back down to 7" is really annoying! I agree i do have a quick gamble if i see a bloke put £10 in without nothing out but other than that i have learned from my mistakes of putting £100 in for a shit top!

Would anyone care to list up what most of the features are on these? They're just so 'indescriptive'! It would be handy to know if any of the features are worth taking if red etc. for a quick steal.

I'll list a few, i haven't taken them all! I'll list their value in red.
Guitar strings - Skill trap cash values in the middle of the alpha. £2-3
Elvis Lives - Turbo Win. Usually £7-£10 odd, depending on machines mood.
Rolling Stone - Worst Red, awful feature. Reels roll, you stop them. Then a reel roulette where they stop. Nearly always cherries/oranges, £1-3 usually.
Rock Da House - Cash Links feature. Skill stop offered on cash trail to determine missing blanks. Try and set up a £6-£7 win....if you leave say £5-£10 lit up, you'll only get £4.
Disc Jockeys - Greed. You can bank and continue here. I usually bank around £5, and try and push for £7 odd.
Rock On Tommy - Catch the £ sign (i think). Much like the vivid feature. Only gives around £4.
Can't think of the rest without a pic.....anyone else fill in the gaps?

There is a number runner one somewhere...

swinging streak - flashses values on right hand side of machine. SHOOT or STOP. if you hit shoot you get another go and so forth. red = £25 and more!
hot rod - vlaues dissaper until four left and player has to skill stop a value out the 4. on red it goes slow. nice if the top 4values are lit :)
we will rock you - number runner. shit. red = repeat chance.
jitter bug (i think) - greed type feature. red version lets you bank a safe amount.
lovely job
