Reel or No Reel - £35 JP

Post by Nixxy »

This one's now being advertised on Empire's website with both £25 and £35 JP options, along with multistake options of 10p/20p/30p AND 10p/30p/50p.

Which opens up the possibility of 30p play/£35JP which I didn't think was on the cards.

Sadly, it means the first £35 JP machine I've stumbled across is pretty much a clone of MegaZone with a different top-bit.

This one has a £25 JP but a £35 shot in the cash shots.
Here's the pic, and yes, it's a bit on the large-side:

its worse than dough selecta, the super shots on that at least went 5,6,7,10,15,20,25 not a big jump from £15 to MS ! Now thers a block.

Obviously going up if it offers more then £5 on shots , i reckon it could cost at least £20+ to get it , but i reckon the streak could be a nice little earner

looks like its got the playablity of a cashino £500 with a broken tft!

dire dire shocking looking machine..

£15 to MEGA STREAK< does this have to do £35 or jsut £25

whats the black bit in the middle?

stating £25 jp then mega streak is above it..
surely jp is the highest amount, but with £35 on the shots that doesnt look the case..

maybe this pic is a rushed promo pic, incorparating the £35..

the black bit in the middle might add the amounts above it up
this being why there is no £25 part
all the amounts added together equals £34 quid so its a possibility?? :?

The machine artwork is set to £25. I've played the £35 version.

I will shock you all here - ITS A GOOD MACHINE!

If you get a reel win you have to HI-LO gamble once before a feature entry... "cack" i might hear you say but infact it has its uses.

Whatever number on the HI-LO reel is set to what exchanging it will give you the corresponding bonus. there are 12 bonuses on the artwork, each with a dif number for bonus - like Extra life (4 on reel).

The box is the typical deal or no deal kinda thing... adding the arrows towards the mega streak is a good thing. MS gives jackpot amount minimum ...

This provided me with my first £35 jackpot yesterday, and like all good buses, the next board did another JP too.

Got to agree - it IS a good machine.

It doesn't block the top ridiculously like you might imagine, it lets you into the feature fairly often, and it's pretty simple to play.

As said above, when you get a win on the reels, it's not a turbo gamble (like on GGG, CBW etc) it's a straightforward hi/lo gamble on the number reel. The number it then lands on corresponds to a starting bonus (exchange in on a 4 and you start with an extra life; a 7 is an extra key; a 2 is three extra keys; a 6 I think was an extra streak advance, and so on..)

From there it's a straight forward hi/lo gamble... with a difference. Most of the time you'll start on a decent number and it'll throw you a 5/6/7 etc. The difference is that you tend to win on these numbers when you gamble! None of that 3s and 10s logic here. Three successful gambles gives a bonus, three gambles all higher or all lower gives a skill bonus.

I found when it offered the £10 and £15 shots, it was obviously ready. The good thing was that it didn't block the £35 shot like I imagined it might - the first time I had 4 amounts left (£2, £4, £15 and £35) and I went higher than a 5, it gave 2 shots and the second hit the £35. The next board was obviously still happy as it quickly advanced the streak arrows right up to the £15+rpt (the last one before MS) and annoyingly (!) gave the £35 shot before I'd gotten the last arrow.

£70 out from £23 in at 50p/play (5 winlines)

Mustn't grumble, but if anyone's had the MS and wants to tell us how much it can pay - feel free!

Theres one in Liverpool, it is an amazing machine I played and it was full and gave the feature every second counts which was 9 seconds of nudges and I just nudges all reels to pot and got it.

Next board gave the black bit in the middle from the keys I pressed reveal to get 9 reel blasts for a 2nd pot.

Was truly amazed, I was going to force anyway just to see what it plays like and it just potted about a few boards in.

I got the 3 keys when I started on the board the 2nd time to get the reveal, this is a great machine, keep up the work Empire.

Are you forced to collect the thing it reveals once you've pressed it, or can you carry on hi/lo-ing?

I didn't press it as I didn't want to ruin the force.

This isn't a Megazone clone as it has three hi/lo positions on a disc. I'd say this is more of a Cash, Bang, Wallop! clone as it has a cash stack and only a single hi/lo position.
