Hi

I have a global games "A Knight's Trail. I replaced the meter near the coin mech as it kept giving me an error "gen met error" when I switched it on. The error has stopped after I replced it, until I open the cash door when I get the Gen met error again (sometimes is says alarm), Other than the inserting and turning the key that opens the menu do I need to do anything else before opening the cash door?

you shouldn't have to do anything before opening the cash door, check for damage to the wires going to the meter.

real common for the wires to snag in the top door and get damaged...
