any coins i put in they just come straight out as if ive pressed the reject button any idea why?

The coin mech doesn't recognise the coins.
This could be because
(i) Coins are illegal,
(ii) Coins are incorrect specs,
(iii) Mech needs a new validator
(iv) Build up inside the mech of grime etc.
(v) You have the makings of a new strimmer :o
